About XCG
Founded in 1990, XCG employed 28 people and provided environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment and management, solid waste advisory, and hazardous building materials management across Canada. Trace operates as an employee-owned professional services firm with Canadian offices offering environmental science and engineering, health and safety, emergency management, business continuity, sustainability, and Indigenous engagement services. Combined Operations
The merger expanded Trace’s geographic footprint in southern Ontario while adding solid waste advisory and surface water management capabilities. XCG became Trace’s Ontario division on February 1, 2024, operating under the name “XCG, a division of Trace Associates Inc.”
